plc, shown against his name below. The shares were purchased on 30 July 2002 at
a purchase price of £5.84 per share following a dividend re-investment. The
shares are held in Single Company PEPs administered by The Bank Of Scotland and
registered in the name of HSDL Nominees Limited A/C BOS. The Company was
notified of the Directors' interest in these shares on 27 September 2002.
