3i Group plc: Timetable for financial results in respect of the year to 31 March
2007



The Meeting of the Committee of the Board of 3i Group plc at which the results
for the year to 31 March 2007 are due to be approved, and the final dividend be
recommended, has been convened for the afternoon of Wednesday 9 May 2007. The
preliminary announcement of the results will be released by notification to the
London Stock Exchange before 8.00 am on Thursday 10 May 2007.



The expected financial calendar is as follows:



Post accounts to shareholders         May 2007

Final dividend record date            Friday, 22 June 2007

Final dividend payment date           Friday, 20 July 2007
