3i Group plc - Timetable for financial results for the year to 31 March 2010

The Meeting of the Committee of the Board of 3i Group plc at which the results for the year to 31 March 2010 are due to be approved, and the final dividend be recommended, has been convened for the afternoon of Wednesday, 12 May 2010.

The results will be released by notification to the London Stock Exchange before 8.00 a.m. on Thursday, 13 May 2010.

The expected financial calendar is as follows:

Post accounts to shareholders: Early June 2010

Final dividend record date: Friday, 18 June 2010

Final dividend payment date: Friday, 16 July 2010.
