3i Infrastructure plc (the "Company")
On 12 February 2014 the Company announced that Ben Loomes had been appointed as Co-Managing Partner of the Infrastructure business of the Company's Investment Adviser, 3i Investments plc ("3i").
On 17 February 2014, Mr Loomes indicated that he wished to resign from the Board of 3i Infrastructure plc. In accordance with the conditions attached to the Company's Collective Investment Fund Permit, the Jersey Financial Services Commission is required to approve the resignation proposal, prior to the resignation taking effect. Accordingly, such resignation will take effect on receipt of such approval from the Jersey Financial Services Commission.
The Company also announces that pursuant to the relationship agreement dated 20 February 2007 between 3i Group plc and the Company, 3i Group plc has nominated Ian Lobley as a non-executive Director of the Company to replace Ben Loomes. The appointment of Mr Lobley is subject to the receipt of necessary regulatory and legal approvals and the Company will therefore make a further announcement as to the effective date of Mr Lobley's appointment.
Ian Lobley joined 3i in 1987 and has been a Partner since 1994. In his current role, Ian has responsibility for investments in companies across a variety of sectors and is an experienced board member across multiple geographies. Ian is a member of the 3i Group Investment Committee and of the BVCA UK and European Capital Committee.
