FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 18 MAY 2001
4imprint Group PLC
AGM STATEMENT
At today's Annual General Meeting, Dick Nelson, Chief Executive said:
' Sales in our US direct marketing business are in line with last year.
However, we remain cautious about the slowing US economy.
Our recent acquisition, Adventures in Advertising Franchise Inc. is ahead of
the previous year. Trading is up by 40% with like for like sales up 10% in
line with expectations.
Additional costs associated with the integration of this business and our
long-term development plans will result in reduced margins in the US in the
first half of the year.
Trading in the UK is in line with budget. We remain confident about the
long-term prospects for the group.'
