The 600 Group PLC announces that Mr A R Sweeten, a director of the Company, has
today notified the Company that he has purchased 32,000 ordinary shares of 25p
in the Company at 65.5p each on 9 January 2004. Mr Sweeten's total holding is
now 182,054 shares.
