                                  BOARD CHANGE



The 600 Group PLC announces today that Mr Edward Ahmad has resigned his position
with immediate effect.

Tony Sweeten will continue as Group Chief Executive, having agreed to postpone
his retirement until a more appropriate time.

The 600 Group will announce its preliminary results for the financial period
ended 29 March 2003 on Thursday 19 June 2003.
