The 600 Group PLC announces that, following the retirement as directors of Mr B
J Knightley and Mr A C Schauer on 6 September 2000, Mr J A Kitchen, a director
of the company, has been appointed Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the Audit
Committee and that Mr P B Bullock, a director of the company, has been nominated
as senior independent non-executive director, all appointments with immediate
effect.
