Response to PTG Statement

600 Group PLC 30 November 2007 30 November 2007 The 600 Group PLC ('600 Group' or the 'Company') Response to PTG Statement The board of 600 Group (the 'Board') has noted the announcement on 29 November 2007 by Precision Technology Group Ltd ('PTG') stating that PTG has no intention of making an offer for the Company. After consultation with the Takeover Panel, the Board confirms that the Company is no longer deemed to be in an Offer Period for the purposes of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers. Commenting, Martin Temple, Chairman of 600 Group, said: "We are pleased that the lack of clarity or certainty regarding PTG's intentions, created by its announcement on 5 October 2007, has now been resolved. The Board did not consider that PTG's indicative approach represented acceptable value for 600 Group shareholders. The Board remains very confident of the Company's prospects and will be updating shareholders on the continuing implementation of the Company's stated strategy in the near future."
