Investor AB's holdings in ABB, passive passing of threshold
Zurich, December 23, 2003 - Pursuant to Art. 20 of stock exchange act, the
Swedish industrial holding company Investor AB, Arsenalsgatan 8c, SE-103 32
Stockholm, announced that, as per December 16, 2003, it holds an unchanged total
of 204,115,142 registered shares of ABB Ltd, Zurich.
Due to the issuance of 30,298,913 ABB shares out of the authorized share capital
in connection with the Plan of reorganization of Combustion Engineering,
Investor's share in ABB has changed from the former 10.01 percent to 9.86
percent of total capital and voting rights, although the amount of shares held
by Investor is unchanged.
