ABB to list shares April 6 on New York Stock Exchange
Zurich, Switzerland, April 5, 2001 - ABB said today it has received approval
from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to list its shares on the
New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on Friday, April 6, 2001.
As previously announced, ABB will list American Depositary Shares under the
symbol 'ABB'.
ABB President and CEO Jorgen Centerman will ring the bell to open the Exchange
on Friday morning.
The event will be broadcast live over the Web and will be available for viewing
at ABB's Website at www.abb.com starting at 1515h Central European Time (CET)
(9:15 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Video footage of ABB Ltd at the NYSE will be available April 6 from 2030h-
2045h CET (2:30-2:45 p.m. EST) at the following coordinates:
Telstar 6, C.Band, Transponder 4, and by fiber line at Waterfront £1630
