Standard Life Investments to acquire 75.1% of Aida Capital Limited

Standard Life plc today announces that its subsidiary, Standard Life Investments (Holdings) Limited ("Standard Life Investments"), has acquired a 75.1% shareholding in fund of hedge funds manager, Aida Capital Limited ("Aida") from the current owners of Aida, Nick Oppenheim and Colin Clark.  The acquisition of Aida by Standard Life Investments has been approved by the FSA.
