Announcement by Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited ("HDFC Limited")

The Company notes that HDFC Limited has today announced that in connection with the proposed Initial Public Offering ("IPO") of HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Limited ("HDFC Life"), the Red Herring Prospectus filed by HDFC Life with the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai, has been approved on Wednesday 25 October 2017.

The announcement also confirmed that the IPO of HDFC Life will be open for subscription to Anchor Investors on Monday 6 November 2017, and to the public on Tuesday 7 November 2017 and shall close on Thursday 9 November 2017. The Price Band for the IPO will be intimated in due course.
