of F&C Global Smaller Companies plc with effect from the conclusion of its
Annual General Meeting on 30 July 2007.  In addition, he will retire from the
board of Dairy Crest Group plc on 31 July 2007.

This notice is given in fulfilment of obligations under Listing Rule 9.6.14(R).
