Individual Awards under the Restricted Stock Plan
On 29 June 2012, the Company granted to Nathan Richard Parnaby, CEO Asia and Emerging Markets, individual awards under the Standard Life Restricted Stock Plan ('RSP Awards') over existing ordinary shares in the Company, subject to the rules of the Standard Life Long Term Restricted Stock Plan.
The RSP Awards were in recognition of the allocation of additional duties and responsibilities. No other enhancements have been made to his remuneration package. The RSP Awards will vest only if approved specific individual performance conditions have been met and are subject to continued employment. No consideration is payable on the granting or vesting of these RSP Awards.
The maximum number of shares awarded under the Restricted Stock Plan is 222,202 which will be earned over the 2.5 year performance period from 1 July 2012 to 31 December 2014 and delivered at the end of this period.
Following the above grant, the total number of shares granted to Nathan Richard Parnaby under Restricted Stock Plan and LTIP awards is 908,576.
This notice is given in fulfilment of obligations under DTR 3.1.4 (R).
