Exercise of Sharesave option and sale of shares by Paul Stephen Matthews

The Company has been advised today, by Capita IRG Trustees Limited, that Mr Paul Matthews has exercised 5,715 options over ordinary shares of 10 pence each at an option price of £1.5746 per share. These options were granted under the Standard Life Sharesave Plan as approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on 17 May 2011. All shares have been sold at a price of £4.15.
