Standard Life plc was advised on 29 June 2016 by an external nominee that the following interests in ordinary shares were acquired as a result of an election by the Director to participate in the dividend reinvestment plan ('DRIP').  The shares were purchased as a result of the reinvestment of the 2015 final dividend of 12.34p per share.  The purchase price of the shares was £3.3919 per share.
