Listing of HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Limited ("HDFC Life")

The Company notes that on Friday 17 November 2017, HDFC Life listed on the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and The Bombay Stock Exchange Limited following completion of the Initial Public Offer ("IPO"). On opening, the equity shares in HDFC Life were listed at a price of Rs 290 per share. 

Through the IPO, Standard Life (Mauritius Holdings) 2006 Limited ("MH06") sold 108,581,768 equity shares in HDFC Life for a total consideration of approximately Rs 31,489m (c£370m¹).

MH06's shareholding in HDFC Life now stands at 589,626,265 equity shares or 29.35% of the issued equity share capital of HDFC Life. Based on the listing price, the value of this remaining shareholding would be approximately Rs 170,992m (c£2.0bn¹).
