Standard Life plc is hosting a presentation for analysts and investors - 'Driving value from a position of strength' at 9.00am (UK time) today, 23 September 2010, at UBS, 1 Finsbury Avenue, London EC2M 2PP. 

 

The presentation will be hosted by Chief Executive David Nish and will focus on the following:

·      Creating significant value at Standard Life Investments 

·      Investing and innovating to capture significant UK savings market opportunities 

·      Leveraging our scalable platforms to drive efficiencies 

·      Generating strong and predictable cash flows.

Keith Skeoch, Chief Executive of Standard Life Investments, will demonstrate that with £63bn of third party assets under management and strong strategic positions Standard Life Investments is a valuable growth business. 

Paul Matthews, UK Take-to-Market Director, and Christian Torkington, Group IT and Operations Director, will provide insight into the opportunities available to Standard Life in the UK long-term savings market.  They will outline the investments being made to capture these opportunities as well as the potential to deliver a material increase in profitability through productivity improvement. 

Jackie Hunt, Chief Financial Officer, will highlight how the Group's strong and predictable cash flows provide financial flexibility to win new business, increase investment in profitable growth opportunities and deliver a progressive dividend.  Jackie will also provide additional disclosure on key IFRS profit drivers.

David Nish said:
