(with investments at bid market values and excluding current period revenue
unless otherwise indicated) of the following Investment Trust as at close of
business on 19 September 2006:


Aberdeen Asian Smaller Companies - Undiluted *               318.77p       Ordinary
Aberdeen Asian Smaller Companies - Diluted *                 286.88p       Ordinary




*    Please note that due to the political situation in Thailand the Thai Stock
Market has been suspended.  The net asset value of those Companies with Thai
exposure therefore reflect the last closing price.
