Aberdeen Asian Smaller Companies Investment Trust Plc (the "Company")

Notice of de-listing of Warrants

Under the terms and conditions set out in the warrant instrument dated 11 October 1995 constituting the Warrants issued by the Company ("Warrants"), each Warrant conferred the right to subscribe for one Ordinary share in the Company at a subscription price of 100p, with the final date for exercising these subscription rights being 30 November 2010. A letter was sent to holders of Warrants on 15 October 2010 reminding them of their final subscription rights. 

Holders of Warrants are hereby notified that the notice period required under Listing Rule 5.2.8 in respect of the cancellation of the listing of the Warrants has now commenced and it is expected that such cancellation will take effect at 8.00 a.m. on 1 December 2010.
