ABERDEEN ASIAN SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK

On 29 July 2015, Aberdeen Asian Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC purchased in the market 25,000 Ordinary shares at 785.24 pence per share. These shares will be held in treasury.

As a result of the above transaction the Ordinary shares in issue, shares held in treasury, and the Total Voting Rights of the Company are now as follows:

Number of Ordinary Shares held in treasury                                         1,165,790

Total Voting Rights attaching to Ordinary Shares in issue                    38,011,390
