ABERDEEN ASIAN SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC (THE 'COMPANY')

The Company announces that on 13 June 2007 it purchased in the market 100,000
Warrants to subscribe for Ordinary shares, for cancellation at 216p per Warrant.


Following this transaction, 4,948,903 Warrants remain in issue.
