ABERDEEN ASIAN INCOME FUND LIMITED (THE "COMPANY")

DIRECTOR DECLARATION

In compliance with UKLA Listing Rule 9.6.14, the Company announces that Mr Duncan Baxter, a non-executive director, has informed the Company that he was on 16 May 2011 appointed as a director of Evraz Group SA, which has Global Depository Receipts listed on the London Stock Exchange.

There have been no other changes to the information set out in the UKLA Listing Rules 9.6.13R (2) to 9.6.13R (6) in respect of Mr Baxter.
