Declaration of First Interim Dividend

The Directors of the Company have today declared a first interim dividend in respect of the year ending 31 December 2019 of 2.25p per Ordinary share of No Par Value (2018: 2.25p).  This first interim dividend will be payable on 24 May 2019 to Ordinary shareholders on the register on 26 April 2019, ex-dividend date 25 April 2019.

In the absence of unforeseen circumstances, it is the Board's intention to declare three interim dividends of 2.25p per Ordinary share in respect of the year to 31 December 2019.  In line with 2018, a decision on the level of the fourth interim dividend will be made following the year end, in January 2020.

The Company operates a Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRIP) which is managed by the registrar, Link Asset Services, and the deadline for elections under the DRIP will be 3 May 2019.
