On 01 April 2008 Aberdeen Asian Income Fund Ltd bought back 80,000 ordinary
shares for cancellation at a price of 112.5 pence per share. Following the buy
back, there are 108,840,000 ordinary shares in issue. The share buy-back will be
financed out of the capital reserve.
