ACM EUROPEAN ENHANCED INCOME FUND PLC

RESULT OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

(15) SEPTEMBER 2005



The board of ACM European Enhanced Income Fund plc (the 'Company') announces
that the resolutions comprising the ordinary business of the Company's annual
general meeting held today (the 'AGM') were approved.  However, as recommended
by the Company's board, the special resolution to the effect that the Company
continue in existence for a further period of approximately five years was not
approved.

In the light of the result of the AGM the Board intends, as required by the
Company's articles of association, to convene an extraordinary general meeting
of the Company to address the closure of the Company.  A further announcement
will be made in due course.
