ABERDEEN STANDARD EQUITY INCOME TRUST PLC

DECLARATION OF THIRD QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

The Directors are pleased to announce that a dividend of 4.9 pence per Ordinary Share will be paid on 27 September 2019, to Shareholders on the register as at close of business on 6 September 2019.  The associated ex-dividend date is 5 September 2019. It is expected that the full year dividend will be at least 20.2 pence, which will represent an increase of 5.2% on the dividend payment in the previous year. The Board expects that this dividend will be fully covered by current year earnings.
