Aberdeen Latin American Income Fund Limited

The Board of Aberdeen Latin American Income Fund Limited (the "Company") has today declared a second interim dividend of 1.0p per ordinary share in respect of the year to 31 August 2011 payable on 28 April 2011 to ordinary shareholders on the register at close of business on 8 April 2011.

Dividends will be payable quarterly, all in the form of interim dividends. It remains the Company's aim to provide ordinary shareholders with an initial yield of not less that 4.25% (based on the issue price of 100p) in respect of this first financial year ending 31 August 2011 and to grow dividends over time.
