ABERDEEN NEW DAWN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC
(The 'Company')


The Company has refinanced its revolving credit facility with Standard Chartered
Bank through a new three year revolving credit facility with Allied Irish Banks
('AIB').  On 14th September 2005, approximately £7.4 million was repaid to
Standard Chartered Bank and the same amount drawn down under the AIB facility.


The AIB facility can be drawn up to £12 million and it matures on 14 September
2008.  As at 15th September 2005, the Company's total borrowings were
approximately £7.4 million.
