Issue of Equity

The Company announces the allotment on 29 July 2005 of 480,000 ordinary shares
of 25p each under its block listing facility.  The issued share capital is now
23,887,133 ordinary shares.

These shares were issued for cash at a price of 409.70p per share.  The net
asset value per share at the close of business on 27 July 2005 was 404.61p.
