ABERDEEN NEW DAWN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC (the "Company")

The Company announces that it has entered into a new five-year £35,000,000 multi-currency loan facility (the "Facility") with the Royal Bank of Scotland plc ("RBS").  This replaces the £30,000,000 loan facility with RBS which expired today.  HKD154,100,000, US$8,680,000 and £2,500,000 loans are currently drawn down under the Facility.
