Aberdeen New Dawn Investment Trust PLC announces the following purchases of
Warrants to subscribe for Ordinary shares, in the market, for cancellation:

65,000 A Warrants purchased on 18 June 1999 for cancellation at 85p
65,000 B Warrants purchased on 18 June 1999 for cancellation at 45.5p
265,561 B Warrants purchased on 14 July 1999 for cancellation at 60p

Following these transactions 678,081 Series A Warrants remain in issue and
2,666,437 Series B Warrants remain in issue.
