Final conversion of Warrants

New India Investment Trust plc has applied for the listing of 12,115,997 ordinary shares of 25p each (the "Shares") following the exercise of 12,115,997 warrants to subscribe for ordinary shares at 100p per share in the period to the final exercise date on 2 August 2010. The Shares will rank pari passu with the Company's existing Shares. Following the exercise the Company's issued share capital will comprise 59,070,140 Shares with voting rights.

It is expected that admission to the Official List and commencement of dealings in the Shares on the London Stock Exchange will take place at 8.00 a.m. on 10 August 2010.
