RESULT OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

At the Annual General Meeting of New India Investment Trust PLC ("the Company") held on 6 September 2016, all resolutions in the Notice of the Meeting as set out in the Annual Report for the year ended 31 March 2016 ("Annual Report"), were passed on a show of hands.

As set out in the Annual Report, Professor Victor Bulmer-Thomas retired as a Director of the Company at the conclusion of the AGM.
