BOARD CHANGE
API Group plc, the specialist packaging company, announced today that Colin Ames
has resigned as a Director of API Group plc with immediate effect. He will also
relinquish his positions as Director of Operations and General Manager of API
Laminates with effect from 31 July 2006 and by mutual agreement will cease to be
employed on a full-time basis with effect from 31 August 2006.
Colin joined API in 1995 and was appointed as a Director of the Company in May
2004. The Board wishes to thank him for the significant contribution which he
has made to API Laminates and the Group as a whole over more than ten years'
service with the Company. Colin will continue to be retained as a consultant on
a part-time basis until he reaches his normal retirement date in 2011.
