DIRECTORATE APPOINTMENT

The Board of Directors of Standard Life Investments Property Income Trust Limited is pleased to announce that Mr Huw Evans has been appointed as a non-executive Director of the Company, effective 11 April 2013.

Mr Evans, a resident of Guernsey, acts as a Director to public and private financial services clients.  His only other current appointment as a Director of a publicly quoted company is of BH Macro Limited.

In the previous five years he has also been a director of European Capital Limited and KSK Emerging India Energy Fund Limited, which were publicly quoted at the time, but he is no longer a director of either of these companies.

Mr Evans is a Chartered Accountant.

There is no other information required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 R of the Listing Rules.
