Proposed disposal of API Converted Products
API Group plc, the specialist packaging group, is pleased to announce that at
the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held today the resolution
relating to the proposed disposal of its Converted Products businesses, as
announced on 4 January 2005, was duly passed.
The disposal was conditional upon the passing of this resolution at the
Extraordinary General Meeting. The disposal was also conditional upon the
agreements for the buyers' funding becoming unconditional and being completed.
This condition is also expected to be satisfied today and accordingly, the
disposal is expected to be completed later today.
