RESULT OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Standard Life UK Smaller Companies Trust PLC (the "Company") hereby gives notification that, at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held earlier today, 8 October 2013, all the Resolutions, as set out in full in the Notice of Meeting contained in the Annual Report which was sent to shareholders on 6 September 2013, were duly passed.
