Change of Company Secretary

Standard Life UK Smaller Companies Trust PLC (the "Company") announces that, with effect from 6 September 2019, the agreement between Aberdeen Standard Fund Managers Limited ("ASFML") and Maven Capital Partners UK LLP ("Maven") for the provision of company secretary and administrative services will be terminated and these services will in the future be provided by Aberdeen Asset Management PLC ("AAM") under a delegation agreement between ASFML and AAM.

As a result of this change, the registered office of the Company will change to the address shown below.

The Board would like to thank Maven for its support to the Company over recent years.

There is no change to the management of the Company, which continues to be provided by Aberdeen Standard Fund Managers Limited.
