The Directors of Standard Life UK Smaller Companies Trust PLC ('the Company') announce, with great regret, the sudden death on 28 February 2009 of Mr Mickey Ingall. Mr Ingall had served as a non-executive Director of the Company since its formation in 1993 during which time the other Directors and the Company benefited from his industry experience and sound advice.
