EDINBURGH SMALL COMPANIES TRUST PLC
7.75 per cent debenture stock 2023


Further to yesterday's announcement, the redemption price is £137.047 per £100
nominal of Stock.  Interest to the redemption date (1 December 2006) will also
be paid.

As announced yesterday, 48.4063% of each stockholders' holding will be redeemed
at this price, and the balance of each holding will remain outstanding.  CREST
accounts will be credited, and/or cheques will be posted, on 1 December 2006.
