                       RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING


Edinburgh Small Companies Trust PLC (the 'Company') hereby gives notification
that, at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held earlier today, 27
October 2006, resolutions as set out in full in the Notice of Meeting dated 28
September 2006, were duly passed.

A copy of the resolutions passed under Special Business will be submitted
shortly to the UK Listing Authority and will be available for inspection at the
