RESULT OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Standard Life UK Smaller Companies Trust plc (the "Company") hereby gives notification that at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held earlier today, 27 October 2016, all the Resolutions as set out in full in the Notice of Meeting contained in the 2016 Annual Report which was sent to shareholders on 15 September 2016, were duly passed.
