("accesso" or the "Group")
Directorate Change
accesso Technology Group plc (AIM: ACSO), the premier technology solutions provider to the global attractions and leisure industry, announces that Mr Anthony ("Tony") Bone notified the Group on 23 April 2014 of his intention to step down as a Non-Executive Director of the Group. Mr Bone's resignation will become effective on 27 May 2014.
Mr Bone joined accesso in 2000 and has served as a Non-Executive Director of the Group since that time. In addition to his normal Board duties, which have included chairing the Board's remuneration committee and serving on its audit committee, Mr Bone has provided the management team with effective advice on the development of accesso's product strategy.
Mr Bone will continue to provide advice and support to the company as required following his resignation.
Mr Bone has provided valuable continuity to the Group as it has developed over the years. The Board of Directors (the "Board") has no immediate plans to recruit a replacement, but will keep the situation under review as the Group continues to evolve.
Thanking Tony for his long service, Non-Executive Chairman of accesso, John Weston said:
"Tony has been a highly effective Board member and it has been a pleasure to work with him during my time as Chairman. In particular, he has made a very positive contribution to the way in which we have developed, marketed and sold our products and I am pleased that we will continue to have the benefit of his advice and insight in a consultative capacity moving forward. On behalf of the entire Board, I thank Tony for his commitment, energy and contribution."
Adding his thanks, accesso Chief Executive, Tom Burnet said:
"Tony has been a great source of advice and encouragement since I started at accesso. The success we have seen in recent years, particularly in developing our products and getting them in to the hands of customers around the world owes much to his experience and advice. In addition to the Board, I also offer Tony my personal thanks for all his help and I look forward to continuing to benefit from his counsel as we move ahead with our plans."
