accesso® Technology Group plc (AIM: ACSO), the premier technology solutions provider to the global attractions and leisure industry, is pleased to announce the release of the latest version of its accesso Passport® eCommerce solution.  This new release is designed to make it easier for attractions to meet the growing demand from guests to make purchases on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

 

The next generation of the accesso Passport solution, which currently sells more than 16 million tickets per year, offers a fully responsive design which seamlessly adapts to the various screen sizes of desktop, tablet and mobile devices. In addition, the system now permits guests to retrieve and scan their admission tickets directly from their smartphone, increasing the ease with which they can access their chosen park.

 

A variety of additional upgrades have also been made to the solution, including support for a wide range of payment methods across multiple currencies, enhanced security features, advanced fraud protection and integrated analytics.  The new release also opens up the possibility for park operators to sell anything, anytime, anywhere across all devices, whether that be entrance tickets, season passes, memberships, timed entry tickets or even meals and access to ancillary attractions.

"It has become very clear to us that consumer behaviour is changing.  Mobile is now increasingly the first, last and sometimes only point of call for consumers seeking to purchase theme park tickets and access special experiences once inside the park.  Today as much as 30 to 40 percent of online ticket sales are being made on a mobile device.  That trend is only going to continue to grow and today's release is designed to capture that opportunity to the fullest. ·      Accertify®Fraud Prevention Platform - decreases chargebacks by identifying fraud, increases revenue by allowing decisions to be made using more than 100 data elements, reduces false positives from bad AVS and CVV checks, and identifies negative and positive transaction data trends.

·      Safe Harbor Certified - follows Safe Harbor guidelines for how Personally Identifiable Information (PII) can be treated when sent outside of the European Union.
