                 ACQUISITION OF MINORITY INTERESTS

Buckland Investments plc has completed the acquisition of the 20 per cent.
minority interests in Sparkle Investments BV and the 10 per cent. minority
interest in Euro Asia Connectors Co Ltd.  As a result, Buckland now owns 100 per
cent. of all its subsidiaries.  The consideration for these share purchases has
been satisfied by the payment of the equivalent of approximately £200,000 in
cash and the issue to one of the vendors of 200,000 new ordinary shares in
Buckland.

The Board is pleased to report that good progress is being made with the
transfer of the remaining manufacturing operations from France to Thailand.
