Buckland Group PLC

BUCKLAND GROUP PLC
('Buckland' or 'the Group')
AGM Statement
Following completion of all outstanding orders, the Group's loss-making
subsidiary, Euro Asia Connectors Co Ltd, has now ceased production and its
remaining workforce was made redundant on 22 July. Whilst it will take several
months to close out its assets and liabilities, satisfactory progress has been
made so far in this process.
Derlite's manufacturing operations in Bangkok have continued to operate normally
during the closure of EAC and plans are now at an advantage stage for the phased
transfer of DK Gas' manufacturing operations from the UK to Thailand.
The Group's interim results to 30 June 2005 will be posted to shareholders in
early September.
