                           Issue of new ordinary shares

Buckland Investments PLC ('Buckland') has today issued 98,370,408 new ordinary
shares at a price of 0.75p per share. 86,353,326 of these new ordinary shares
have been issued for cash to raise approximately  £600,000 net of expenses for
Buckland. The remaining 12,017,082 shares have been issued to certain creditors
of Buckland by way of conversion of their debts. Included in the amounts stated
above are 14,533,332 new ordinary shares for which the directors have subscribed
cash and 6,666,666 new ordinary shares issued by way of conversion of a
director's loan account.
