Buckland Investments PLC's ('the Company') shares were suspended from listing
on AIM on 2nd July 2001 pending publication of its audited accounts for the
year to 31st December 2000.  Subsequently in late August, the Company issued a
statement outlining the financial position of its French subsidiaries and
indicating its intention to issue accounts not later than this October.  The
Company's accountants are now in the process of auditing the accounts to 31st
December 2000 and these will be available for publication in December together
with the un-audited interim figures for the six months to 30th June 2001.

The Company's principal trading subsidiary, Euro Asia Connectors Co. Ltd.
(based in Thailand) is unaffected by the position of the Company's French
subsidiaries and continues to trade profitably.  It is expected that trading
in the Company's shares on AIM will resume following publication of the
accounts.
